A new project, designed to increase business for town centre traders and bring extra benefits to Eastleigh shoppers has been launched.
The town’s traders are being invited to participate in a Parking Refund Scheme. This will see shoppers being refunded for up to two hours parking charges (£1.70) when they spend £15 or more with participating retailers.
All of the town’s Council operated car parks are covered including The Swan Centre and Multi-Storey plus all on street parking metres.

Chair of Eastleigh Local Area Committee, Chris Thomas said “By attracting more people to shop or visit the town’s restaurants and leisure activities, the scheme encourages people to ‘shop locally’, increasing business for the town’s traders and removing the need to travel further afield.”
