Eastleigh Borough Council unveiled its plans for the future of the town centre to a packed room at the Point on Tuesday night.
The audience also listened to a presentation on how we can all work together to enhance the image of Eastleigh.
The presentation highlighted many of the town’s positive points – its compactness and walkability, open green spaces, high quality education provision, pride in its Victorian heritage and its accessibility.
Illustrations were available showing the Vision for the future of the town, which include an improved retail and leisure offer, better signposting and entrances, improved pedestrian access and car parking facilities.
